Roof

The roof consists of the access panels that protect the drivetrain and the top of the mid-fuselage. It has the components that follow:

Left and right transmission fairing

The left and right transmission fairing are composite fairing assemblies. they protect and give access to the transmission and other equipment. They provide the aerodynamic shape and structural integrity of the fuselage. They located on top of the helicopter on the left and right side. They are attached to the structure with quarter-turn fasteners.

Upper-left and right mid-fuselage access panel

The upper-left and right mid-fuselage are composite panel assemblies. They protect and give access to the top of the mid fuselage. They provide the aerodynamic shape and structural integrity of the fuselage. They are located above the mid fuselage on the left and right side. They are attached to the structure with screws.

Exhaust fairing

The exhaust fairing is a aluminium fairing assembly. It protects and gives access to the top of the aft fuselage. It provides the aerodynamic shape and structural integrity of the fuselage. It is located above the aft fuselage behind the power plant. It is attached to the structure with quarter-turn fasteners.

Left and Right Support frame

The left and right support frames are aluminium frames. They support the access panels at the junction of the mid fuselage and aft fuselage on the left and right side. They are attached to the structure with screws.
