Exhaust

The exhaust evacuates the hot combustion gases out of the power producing section of the engine and away from the helicopter. It consists of the collector/nozzle.

Collector/Nozzle

The collector/nozzle is a bolted and welded assembly that collects the hot gases from the engine power producing section to eject them into the atmosphere away from the helicopter. It consists of the elbow and the tip.

Elbow

The elbow is a formed and welded assembly made from corrosion resistant steel, it includes the oil vent tube. The gases from the oil system are also vented through the oil vent tube. It is bolted on the engine exhaust tube.

Tip

The tip is made from a formed and welded corrosion resistant steel sheet. It is bolted to the elbow.
