OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE ON OR NEAR ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR (BHT-ELEC-SPM, CHAPTER 2).
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND/OR THE EXTERNAL POWER BEFORE DOING A CONTINUITY CHECK OR MAINTENANCE ON THE SYSTEM.
Make sure to do an isolation check when you do a continuity check.
Make sure that the circuit breakers that follow are closed:
Set the BATT switch to the BATT position on the miscellaneous control panel.
