BATTERY HOT
The BATTERY HOT warning message shows on the PFD when the battery voltage is supplied to the helicopter and the battery is at ambient temperature.

OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE ON OR NEAR ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR (BHT-ELEC-SPM, CHAPTER 2).
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND/OR THE EXTERNAL POWER BEFORE DOING A CONTINUITY CHECK OR MAINTENANCE ON THE SYSTEM.
