Procedure

Minimize the removal of the protective layer during the repair.

  1. Use aluminum Abrasive cloth or paper to remove the corrosion and damage. Do not go more than damage limits.

  1. Apply a layer of Zinc chromate primer to the protective layer.

  2. Apply a top layer of Polymer coating. You can apply the polymer coating with the standard spray, brush or swab. The top layer must be cured in an oven at 300°F (149°C) for 15 minutes.
