Testing operation of central warning systems
Preliminary requirements

Make sure that the circuit breakers are closed.

Connect headsets to the pilot and copilot headset jacks.
Install the ground power unit (preferred).
Set the BATT switch to the BATT position on the miscellaneous control panel (alternative).

Safety conditions
Use a ground power unit, if available, to prevent draining the battery of its stored electrical power.
Procedure
After a sufficient time, make sure that the messages that follow show on the Primary Flight Display (PFD):
XMSN OIL PRESS
FUEL PRESS
ENG OIL PSI LO
ENGINE OUT
When using battery:
GEN
When using external power:
GEN
BATT OFF
WOG
EXT POWER
Make sure that no other warning, caution, advisory, and status message show on the PFD.
Push the AUD TST softkey on the ENGINE page/TEST PAGE.
Make sure that you hear the tones that follow one after the other:
Master warning tone: "Ping" that repeats three times.
Low rotor RPM tone: continuous warble.
ENGINE OUT: "Engine out" voice message.
ECU FAIL: "ECU Fail" voice message.
Airspeed above VNE: continuous "Ting".
JAR-OPS 150 feet: "150" voice message.
Master caution tone: single "Ping".
ENGINE FIRE: "Engine fire" voice message.
Near a limit: double "Ping".
RPM Annunciator: "RPM" illuminated.
Instrument Fans: Instrument fans operate continuously.
Push AUD TST softkey to stop test.
Requirements after job completion
Required Conditions
Remove the ground power unit (if used).
Set the BATT switch to the OFF position on the miscellaneous control panel (if used).
Disconnect the headsets from the pilot and copilot headset jacks.
