Instructions for the external and internal cleaning for the helicopter and its systems.

Rotor Blade

For the procedure and data necessary to remove contamination mechanically from the rotor blades, to include:

• sealing the edges of the blade

• refinishing the blade with or without a fill and fair process refer to the 505-MM

The 505-MM also gives the procedure necessary to replace the leading-edge erosion tape on the rotor blades.

Flap Restraint Assembly

For the procedure and data necessary to remove contamination mechanically from the flap restraint assembly, to include:

• applying a protective coating on the surface refer to the 505-MM
